Continuing to successfully cross the borders of Funk, Jazz and Blues Pee Wee Ellis released the studio album 'Ridin' Mighty High' in 2001. The album 'Live and Funky' is released in 2002 including versions of the Funk classics 'Pass The Peas', Fred Wesley's 'House Party' and James Brown's 'Cold Sweat'.
